In The Evening Time There Shall Be Light
Bible Prophecy should be interpreted completely from the Messianic view point as the Apostles believed it. The Scriptures have one purpose and that is the revelation of Jesus Messiah and his finished work of redemption (first & second coming and all things in between). In fact, the Scriptures say: "The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy" (Revelation 19:10).
Prophecy then has for its center stage the Israel of God that is under the throne and reign of Jesus Messiah. That Israel of God is the Kingdom of God known in the KJV of the Bible as the Church. The word *Church* in the Greek Septuagint version of the Old Testament describes the *called-out ones* who gathered in an assembly to worship God. This believing worshipping Israel was called the Church. The Lamb's book of Life demonstrates that the redemption possession is the purpose of God in this creation.
All prophecy should be interpreted with the purpose of God being the New Testament Israel (all else types and shadows point to its arrival). The Church was in its infancy a totally Jewish entity. It was founded by an Israelite of the tribe of Judah and twelve more Jewish disciples. Within 10 years of the beginning of the Messiahship of Jesus, many tens of thousands of Jews from all the 12 tribes were in the Church. The Church was Israel indeed but the composite was not to remain for Jews only! The promises of Abraham would come to the Gentiles (Gal 3:14). In fact Paul claims all the promises of Abraham was transferred to this group when he said Gentiles could be fellowheirs of the promises and of the SAME BODY, through the Gospel (Eph 3:6). Gentiles would be grafted into this Israel-Church (Rom 11:17-24). Many Jews through unbelief would be cut off. Is God finished with the Jews? No! The Gospel is still to them first. But they must come the Acts 2:38 way, this being sealed for all generations when Peter said: "as many as the Lord our God shall call." But not all Jews will receive, believe, and come into the Messianic Israel. Some will die lost outside God's mercy!
Paul quoted Isaiah in Romans 9:27: Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant would be saved. That remnant from all the twelve tribes became the followers of Jesus Messiah and were Messianic Jews. Thus, the Messianic Judaism of Jesus, the true Isreal of God came into existence. Gentiles were grafted or adopted into this Messianic Judaism by conversion found in Acts 2:38. All Bible prophecy pointing to the coming of Messiah, Messiah's Kingdom, the New Covenant Israel of God, the ingathering of the Gentiles, the preaching of the Gospel to Jews and Gentiles, the persecution and tribulation to come against the saints in the Israel of God, and the endtime persecution of the ministry by a revived antichrist system, must be interpreted from a Messianic understanding of the Scriptures. If you disagree with this, that is fine. Just do not write antisemetic hate letters to us, allow us to have our own Biblical Messianic interpretation of prophecy.
